Here’s their conversation about the recent Planned Parenthood scandal and what the Bible has to say about when life begins.
When I was pregnant with my daughter I was very sick. I lost so much weight I had to be fed intravenously. The doctors and my husband asked me to consider terminating the pregnancy. They made one mistake. I heard her heartbeat. I told them as long as she was fighting I was also. She is now 28 years old, married and pregnant. She showed me her first sonogram at 8 weeks pregnant. This was a baby you can clearly see it. They didn’t have this technology when I was pregnant. All I had to hold on to was her heartbeat and prayers for strength. girls need to kniw and see this is a living thing. This baby they are carrying has a heartbeat and is alive. I never had a second thought about keeping my child. There has to be a way to get these girls to see their child and hear the heartbeat. Maybe at least then some would change their minds.
